"Ordinary teens become extraordinary in this thrilling tale of good versus evil...Skillfully written, this novel will captivate teens, including reluctant readers." -- Publishers Weekly.
The Demon Queen and The Locksmith is a 2010 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Semifinalist.
Kevin panicked when his ears began to buzz. He couldn't be a Hearer. The Hearers were the town freaks. Worse, his dad was one of them, and Kevin's greatest fear was that one day he might turn into his father.
In Turquoise, New Mexico, some people believe that the mountain north of town emits a constant, resonant hum that is audible only to a chosen few. They are called Hearers, and fourteen-year-old Kevin Brown has never trusted them. But when a carefree afternoon with his friends comes to a surprise finish at the spot where Kevin spread his mother's ashes only a year before, a place where the open air seems to resonate in kevin's ears, he realizes he might be a Hearer too, and "The Turquoise Hum" might be much more than a sound.

Very pleased to see this one added. I purchased the book sometime last year and both my wife and I really liked it.By: Spencer Baum
Hi Mary Laura! The whole thing will be released on Podiobooks (I'm editing the next episode as we speak). The files on Podiobooks are complete and there is no warning of a stop on the outro. I think I've caused confusion because an old sampler of the book is up on iTunes, and the Podiobooks feed hasn't shown up on iTunes yet. I'll get after that old iTunes release to make sure no one else is running into the same problem. I'm glad you're enjoying the book so far!By: Mary Laura
This is great! Is this all there is going to be on Podiobooks of this title? Or will it stop here as it says in the outro to Chapter Six? If it is just a teaser, I think Podiobooks has the duty to let us know this before we begin listening to the episodes. What say you, Evo?
