When a public garage locked up Chance Dugan's car for the night, with his wallet locked inside the car, he met the lovely Natti Moon who offered to put him up for the night. What's not to like? Except it turned into a week from hell, with both Chance and Natti on the lam from competing government agencies who are out to do them in. And when one got around to asking Chance for a hand, he only gave them a finger.

i must say this is not the best book i have listened to. that being said it is not the worst either. every one has made a valid point. this the charm, the strength and weakness of a free and open audio book format. if you don't like it don't listen. this was a novel diversion, while waiting for the other better authors (sigler, hutchins, lowell, and the list goes on) to catch up with work and other projects.

I agree with the annoying voices of the narrator as well as it sounded too much like reading aloud. I also agree with the sound of the recording was not of quality. The storyline was ok, but I thought I was going to go nuts if I heard about those caramel eyes one more time.

I find it very annoying with the voices the narrator try to do. It sounds horrible. The audio quality leaves a lot to ask for, and I agree with a lot of the points that Charley Hardman pointed out above (I don't think you are a nerd just because you want quality sound on a audio book you have to endure for hours. Like Hardman said it doesn't take much, and is easy and cheap to achieve nowadays. So there is actually no excuse for poor sound thees days, it's just sloppiness)...
