Thanks, Shannon. Don't get in trouble at work, tho! :) Thanks, Jennie. I had a lot of fun with the shopping scene. It might be my favorite so far. Double Share is done already. You should find it here on Podiobooks or on iTunes. The next book - Captain's Share - should be out this summer but I'm not sure where Owner's Share is in the calendar yet. And don't forget South Coast for another story set in the Golden Age of the Solar Clipper, but with a completely different set of characters.By: Jennie
I must say that I have loved the first 2 books - having started listening to 1 chapter a day at bedtime soon escalated listening to the whole of Half Share in 2 night and not getting to sleep until after 2am! Similarly I started off full of empathy for young Ish wanting to adopt him as a younger brother and just look after him. During The shopping trip in Half Share, I can safely say my opinion of Ish is most definitely NOT maternal and more along the lines of Brill, Diane and Bev!! I'm downloading Full Share now knowing that in a couple of days I'll have to go through Cold Turkey! Any plans for Double Share, Second Mate, First Mate & Captain - you know Ish has to go the full hog! Thanks again Nathan for a great story!By: Shannon
WOW! I'm only about half-way through Half Share, just finishing Episode 9. I seriously cheered at the end of the chapter. Nate, this is phenomenal. The upside: some of the best fiction I've experienced in a long time (no offense to other authors hosted on podiobooks). The downside: I can't stop listening, and my work might be suffering a bit. Great job. I hope the best for you that you get a publisher, because I want to buy the box set!
