It happened while you were away. The nature of this series is that it's about his progress through the ranks and what he learns along the way. It's not a biography as much as a travelogue. As such, there are things that happen to him, and things that he does which do not get portrayed directly in the stories. There is a long time between becoming an officer (Double Share) and becoming a Captain. As a result, there's a hole where a lot happened to him off-stage that he doesn't tell you about.By: jT
And yet another excellent story from Nathan Lowell! I always hate coming up on the end of one of your stories. A well crafted tale, enjoyable characters and a pleasure to listen too. I THOUGHT I had listened to all of the 'Share' stories . . . did I forget about Ishmael getting married or was it just worked into "Captain's Share"? Looking forward to more from Mr. Lowell! jT P.S. Sometime back I had written that I thought the stories were a little 'racy' for my, then, 13 year old son. He's 16 now and has enjoyed several. Have to tell him there are more.By: Nathan
Owner's Share is the end of the Share cycle. There should be many more stories told in this universe. Some of them might be about Ishmael. :)
