Once again Mr. Schefrin has woven a tale of history and fiction so tightly as to make it rainproof. I am not a history buff, or particularly knowledgeable about the Civil War or its battles, but this story kept me engaged up to the inevitable end. Thank you for making me look up Custer and Sitting Bull, and the Battle of Little Big Horn Mr. Schefrin.
