Detective Keith Sparrow has a big problem, and even though he is very good at getting into the minds of killers and figuring it all out. He just can't seem to catch them. Susan Brandon is a deputy coroner for the county of Los Angeles, She is a die hard perfectionist, and hates not being able to solve a case. A twist of events have brought the two of them together, and their own past plays a very important part in a series of murders that has them both completely confused, but to add to there confusion is a series of miraculous healing, that seems to have taken place at exactly the same times as the killings. In a race against time, the pieces of a very complex puzzle must be put together to reveal the truth, but the answers they seek may very well lead to a time before time itself, and they will soon learn, nothing is what it appears to be.
