Now releasing Hull’s Landing by James Melzer
More horror from “Zombie Boy” James Melzer. Check out Hull’s Landing. Unsure if there are zombies in it or not.
Nestled deep in the heart of Pennsylvania is the small town of Hull’s Landing. While it may seem like just an ordinary place, The Landing holds a secret so dark, that there are those who will do anything to protect it.
For decades, young girls have been disappearing like clockwork. While some have their suspicions, the entire town lives in fear, and for good reason. When Rita Clemens, a former member of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, decides to make her new home in Hull’s, she begins to uncover what the locals have tried to keep hidden for so long.
As the race against time begins, Rita will have to do everything she can to protect herself, and to save a child’s life, before one of the world’s oldest evils can be unleashed.
Hull’s Landing is an original novella from the author of THE ZOMBIE CHRONICLES: ESCAPE, coming to bookstores everywhere in March 2011 from Permuted Press and Simon and Schuster.

I lasted 15-20 seconds on this Podiobook and I regret them all. Graphic sexual torture and enslavement of women, men rubbing their penises in preparation for next in line rape, have no place in my brain.

Well, thanks for trying to listen. I appreciate the effort.

This book gave me nightmares. Since it’s supposed to be scary I guess that’s a compliment, but I think I will have to stop listening now. Thanks for sharing it though. I’m sure people with stronger stomachs than I have will enjoy it.

I take that as a total compliment, Jenny. Thanks!

I absolutely can not wait for the next installment! I have been trying hard to guess, but can not, for the life of me, figure out what Rita went back looking for….is the man in the white tennis shoes dead? Was the old man’s death worth nothing? What will happen to Zoe now? I’m certain these men will pay horribly for their crimes against her… Come on… I’m ready for the rest of the story.

The yuck factor is high but the writing is good. Kind of early Sigler. If you don’t overdo the shock stuff the rest of the writing has legs. Keep it up!
