What a captivating story! Loved the voice actors too – they added even more colour to it for me. I went looking to see what else you have released here…was disappointed that this was the only offer. (also listened to and enjoyed another podiobook you narrated – great work)

Your voice is so lovely. I really enjoyed listening to you read. The story was captivating, although the ending was a little bit disappointing. I kept waiting for …oops, no spoilers.

I absolutely love this book! I chanced upon it by accident and quickly found myself caught up in the dramatic, humorous, and enchanting world created by the words of Starla Huchton. Since listening to the first episode I haven’t been able to stop myself and listened to it constantly until the story’s end. I am generally skeptical of fantasy stories, afraid that it would be just another tale of elves and adventures like so many others, but instead I found myself entranced by something completely new and supremely magical. I do not over exaggerate when I say I could not tear myself away and I eagerly anticipated listening to each next episode. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has an imagination thirsting to explore a new world full of adventure, wonder, and even love. You will not be disappointed.
Thank you to Starla Huchton for entertaining my heart and mind with this mystical land of dreams. You have a powerful voice and point of view and I really admire that.
This is one tale I will not soon forget.

This was an intriguing but vaguely mysterious title when I first stumbled on it. I wasn’t quite sure what to think or what to expect. It was a beautifully woven tale of fantasy, goodness, and the fight against evil. I was thoroughly intrigued every step of the way and fell in love with many of the characters. While the ending was not quite what I was hoping for it was still wonderfully executed. I will definately be keeping an eye out for her next book.

A delightful story and very well produced. The characters and world Huchton creates sparkles. The audio was casted to perfection with large cast of familiar podcasters making the reader more connected from episode one. The choice of music, (Waking Dream, by Natalie Walker) complimented the story and added to the quality of the experience. This is one of those novels that I will never forget. I will cherish the memory of this wondrous adventure. Thank you, Ms. Starla Hutchton for sharing it me.
I now long for a new dreamer to wake up and find themselves in the Dreamer’s Thread. There is a wonderful weaving of humor in the story that helped break up a moments of severity. Starla’s own reading in the story shows that she cares deeply for the characters she has created and delivered to us through her podiobooks.com presentation if The Dreamer’s Thread. I found myself wishing for more when the story was complete. Now that I can get out of my truck she is getting a well deserved Standing Ovation!

Great production values by all the actors involved in this reading. I just finished the story and it was a fantastical ride through a well developed dreamworld. There’s plenty of action and adventure and love and sadness to satisfy all.

This was a beautiful story of a very imaginative person. The depth behind the characters and world was detailed. The large cast of familiar voice actors has contributed to the quality of this story. As the story progressed, I found myself intrigued by events that I had not expected, but added so much more depth to the story. The choice of music (Waking Dream by Natalie Walker) was a perfect touch to compliment the story. I am longing for a new dreamer to wakeup and find themselves to be in the dreamers thread. This is one of those novels that I will never forget, and cherish the thought of an great adventure to which she has taken me on.

I look forward to any additional novels that Starla Huchton publishes. I will certainly recommend this novel to others.

Cheating a little bit here as I just put this review up on Itunes as well…….Starla’s story may not be for all as the story does take us into her heroin’s initial setup to a very different world from the one she is introduced in. However, when Aura is introduced into the dream realm she realizes she is there for a purpose. The introduction to those who will assist Aura in her journey to not repeat past errors in this world is really well done. The voice talent used in the Dreamer’s Thread is top notch and each seems to fit the characters they are portraying very well. There is a great combination of bits of humor in the story that helps break up a moment of severity. Starla’s own reading of the story shows that she cares deeply for the characters she has written about and is bring to us through her podiobook. Although at the time I write this review the story is not complete I for one am here for the long haul and may find myself wishing for more when the story is complete.

You guys have got to listen to this story. Starla has a wonderfully crafted tale of adventure and fantasy and the voice cast is a serious who’s-who. Great job Starla!!!

April? Emma? Charlie? Vestrum Tobias? This tale about a Dreamer and its wonderful voice actors are so, so reminiscent of The Longest Journey and yet it is altogether something different with its vampires, elves and talking mice. Similarities and differences aside, it is exceptionally enjoyable thus far (Ep. 3) and very well produced. I look forward to seeing where the story goes.
