It’s 2135 – Alibi is in the SAIF (Solar Alliance Interplanetary Force) Mediation Corps. He handles negotiations between humanity and alien races, and occasionally oversees negotiations between alien races. He’s the adopted son of the former head of the Solar Alliance, Anita Capituna, his “Aunt Anita”.

At a diplomatic function he attends on his aunt’s behalf, Alibi hears talk of people buying into a new settlement. But the news sounds suspicious – could “Poyas” be more con job than colony? And what is Alibi’s old girlfriend Shirra doing messed up in it?

Earthbound Comics has just released the new anthology “Spacebound” – and my story “Alibi Jones: Blind Eye” – with spectacular art by Meisha – opens the book. Just finished listening to this book. It was a fast listen and I had plenty of time on my flight to get through the whole thing.

It’s been nice to revisit the universe you created with BC. I’m guessing there we haven’t heard the last of Alibi Jones just yet.

“Vatican Assassin” is becoming a Graphic Novel! Artist Cristian Navarro and I are adapting the story, turning it into a comic book!

The first issue of the black and white comic book is available now at online comic book store Indy Planet (IndyPlanet.com). The pages will be appearing twice weekly as a webcomic at Drunk Duck (drunkduck.com) beginning January 1st.

Usually it is my rule not to start listening podiobooks that just have a couple of chapters and still are “in progress”. But, after being a die-hard fan of the Abdicator trilogy, I just couldn’t resist to take a peek. It looks like Mike is going to do it again by blowing our mind out with the excitement and adventure. I am excited, anybody else?.. I do have a itsy-bitsy critique thought – I know that pretty much all of the sound effects are voice-made which is fine most of the time when they are used occasionally. In the chapter three there were a bit too much for my liking. Mike, there are pretty good royalty free sound effects websites out there. Or, just use descriptive language rather than wording out a KABOOM =) Nonetheless, great job on this installment and thank you for your hard work. Patiently waiting on the next episode.

This is a new series – Alibi Jones is the son of BC from the Vatican Assassin Trilogy, but this stands alone – new listeners and readers don’t have to worry, everything you need to know is in this book.
