Stories I Told Myself

Fan-favorite Patrick E. McLean is back. If you only know him from his “Succeed In Evil” titles here on the site, this is a great chance to catch up on his other writings. We present, in its entirety, Stories I Told Myself:

Funny, moving and always exquisitely well-produced, this collection of short stories and essays from the award-winning Seanachai podcast is not to be missed. If you like this American Life, but wish that Ira Glass’ voice was a bit softer on the ears, then this is the audio book for you.

All of the episodes are released. If you want one feed with all episodes, the default feed will do nicely. Or if you’d prefer the feed update with additional episodes automatically, get a custom feed. Either way, it’s a free audiobook.

I don’t even have to listen to this to know I’m going to like it. It’s Patrick E. McLean. I know it’s going to be fantastic. I love everything else he does, and the production value on all of his stuff is fantastic.

Ok. So now I’ve listened to it. Loved it. Get this. You won’t regret it.

Listeners: do yourself a favor, listen to Dave.

Patrick: I somehow failed to notice this when it went up on this site. I guess I was busy aggravating you at your blog about the Vampire that *didn’t* rick-roll anybody. Good times.

Perhaps when this is a book, you will drop us a hint in your feed.
