A nice story, but the mispronounced english and japanese words and proper names make it a bit jarring to the ear. Some of the points in the story point to some speculation on the part of the author and don’t ring true to anyone who has had similar experience in japanese and corporate dealings.

    Otherwise a good story.

Must agree. Mispronunciation of common words really takes you out of the story.

sorry…this is just too painful to listen to…the narrator has a reasonable voice, but needs to take the time to rehearse and get feedback and guidance on pronounciation and inflection… really a reasonable step could improve this…still way too many mispronounciations..

I have to agree with the previous comments. The mispronunciations of common words and the garbling of French and Japanese phrases is painful to the ears. The story lacks some depth too and seems to rush to a conclusion. Disappointing overall in my opinion.

The French and the Japanese didn’t bother me at all, cos I don’t understand those languages anyway….but the endless string of copulations was too fucking boring….yawn I got to the third episode, but then I’d had enough of the endless and boring sex

I really enjoyed the story. I did find the ending a little rushed. As to the narrator, well… I thought he was amusing. The mispronounced words were comical at times. I do think he has an excellent book reading voice. After a few more books & some constructive criticism the narrator could be excellent.
