Hello Kirk,

This weekend I downloaded the last four episodes (#32 through #35) of DarkAge. What a treat. Also, last weekend when I was on a long train ride I listened to DarkAge a lot. I got a nice little MP3 player for Christmas and you'll be pleased to read that DarkAge was the one of the first productions I put on the player... to listen to on travels, at the train station, or on my way to work in the morning, and in my lunch break. I found your Q&A episode very enlightening and very fun to listen to. Thanks for sharing the book's history with all of us. I would never have guessed that the book had been written as early as 1992. Kudos for not giving up and producing it as a podiobook.

Where on the Podiobooks site do I go to leave a review? Is it in this column?

I can assure everyone that DarkAge makes for an extremely atmospheric experience, very gripping and powerful in its style, and it's not a book that only gamers will enjoy. Since so much of today's medieval fantasy fiction is either parody or long verbose melodrama with few new ideas, I think DarkAge struck a fine chord with me as something unique. Since the book is complete now, I'll soon check out your next project, Kirk.

To those of you who haven't checked out DarkAge: Trust me, it's really different. It comes with a lot of unexpected turns, plus it's definitely not for sissies. ;-)

Well done, Kirk.

Hi Kirk,

Thanks so much for the podcasts! As being a D&D player from years back, it brought back some fabulous memories of playing with my friends. The story was very entertaining and I totally and absolutely enjoyed it!! How about a Darkage 2?
