Meme
Please welcome Rob Cummins to the site, as he beings releasing a serialized auiobook version of his fictional tale, Meme:
Molly is a thought, an idea who is born to do one thing, to communicate herself into as many other minds as possible. However, things are not as simple as they should be. Molly quickly discovers that the mind that has created her is in trouble. Wild storms and earthquakes are ravaging the City of the mind, threatening to tear it apart before Molly can ever be fully realised. Will Molly be able to get out in time ? And if so, what next ? What exactly is Molly, what is her purpose, and what effect could she have on humankind as a whole.

I’m really enjoying this story! The setting is a really interesting take on the mind, and the writing does a lot to evoke a great sense of wonder. Except for the occasional swear word, I think it’d make a great story for kids, too. That’s not to say it’s childish by any means, but it’s a story I think kids and adults can both enjoy.

I’m loving it – the best NeverImpress title I’ve read/heard so far! But my previous favorite was Diablo- short story on the author’s NeverImpress website.
Great concept and well-told.
Can’t wait for the next chapter….

Meme is based on one of the most original ideas I have come across in ages. The characters are interesting and engaging, so even from the first chapter I am hooked. It is wonderful to look forward to hearing more about the adventure as it unfolds.

Wow, this podiobook is simply amazing. I love the characters, love the story, the concept is great and I can hardly wait for the next episodes. Or rather, there’s a thought in the front row of my brain, telling me to check-check-check for new episodes because we want to know all about Molly!

What a wonderfully quirky and unique story! And one where I truly have no idea what’s going to happen next or where it will all end. Thank you!

This is a fascinating story. The people in it, the people-people are are a bit dull, i asume purposely so but the ideas…. the ideas are so much fun!

Just finished. Really interesting story, but I thought it ended suddenly with a lot of open-ended plot threads that never finished. What a shame, I really enjoyed it up to the end.

Excellent story! I’m trying to get other people I know to listen so I have someone to talk to about it
This would make a great selection for a book discussion group. This is the kind of book I wish I could write.

This is a rather brillent concept with some great writing. I can’t remember a story here on Podiobooks that takes and interesting concpet then does something interesting with it. I’m only on chapter 6 but I’m hooked to the point I’m going to enjoy a 2 hour car ride this weekend cause I get to listen to it as I drive.
Reminds me a less dirty version of a scene in the Woody Allen Movie “Everything you wanted to know about sex but was afraid to ask.” Seems you’re doing for thoughts what that movie did for, um, well you know.
