Fantastic! Had even more fun with this one than I did with Infected. Really enjoyed the relationship between Dawsey and Dew. The best part for me was how Montoya's character developed to become the individual who had to make the huge life-stakes decision at the end. Nicely done! The zombie-like infected people rallying around a psuedo-god child-brain was a good metaphor for some of the more idiotic group-think mentalities infecting our planet. I look forward to the next installment to see what slant Sigler takes with it. Again, Sigler helped fill some empty hours spent commuting. Thanks!

This book was very 'moreish'. I meant to listen to an episode a day but I ended up binging and finishing it in a weekend. The body horror stuff is pretty full on at times, which I'm not really into, but I love the suspense. The plot really kept me guessing. Thanks Scott Sigler for making this available to listen to.

Have read (or listened to) every Sigler book that is out. This is another great listen. The narration by Sigler is awesome, and keeps me interested during my very long commute. He was my introduction to podiobooks, and I can't wait until he releases more.

It's pure Sigler, what more do you need to know? Everything that Scott Sigler writes is masterfull. He pulls you in and then hangs you on a nail by your underwear! You can't stop reading/listening to his

Martin - Did you mean some way OTHER than by clicking the link on the book's page that says:

Buy The Audiobook from Amazon.com</strong?

Because that's (currently) the way to do what you ask. :)

After being verbally abused via podcast by Greg Crites (of Dunkin the Vampire Slayer) into turning to Scott Sigler I started listening to Infected and then Contagious and am hooked! Scott can keep you on the edge of your seat so often you'll smooth the edges out. I couldn't take it anymore so I got the CD version of the podiobook and was elated to find out that it's read by the Overlord himself. I now have another favorite author added to my list and a lot of catching up to do!

I am thinking about giving away some Scott Sigler books as a gift. Personally, I would prefer them on my media player - his voices are excellent - but it would be a good idea to support the effort. I should mention that Scott Sigler was mentioned in the podcast Linux Outlaws as an example of someone working WITH the net rather than against it.

Despite what pop culture states, the shopping gene isn't present in all females. Mandatory holiday shopping is an especially dark experience. My unhappy shopper presence would cause any suited security to talk into his/her earpiece. Nonetheless, no one followed me about as I did my Christmas shopping to "Infected." Most likely it appeared as if I were attuned to a bigger picture, one their pay grade didn't cover. Now I've gotten through 3 episodes of "Contagious", & it's like I've never left the world of "Infected." I will wait until I hit the stores (stocking up for the latest round of NYC-bound storms), before playing episode #4. The book should be en route, as I pre-ordered it. I can't wait until spring 2009 to find out what happens. But what will keep me sane for the inevitible Valentines day shopping (Kay jewelers incessantly on tv. wtf whats every kiss begins w/ Kay? Who tf is Kay, & why is he/she/it/ in the mix? Sounds like an uninvited menage-a-trois) is anyones' guess...Maybe some nice tequila, but then again, I'm projecting. The point is that you should buy the book so that you're not stuck @ episode 6, chewing your nails, and maybe the nails of the gum-cracking hairsprayed brittle shell of the person in line ahead of you. Hey, so far it's Bloombergs' NYC (not my fault/vote), the vice police are out and about. Don't be left hanging for what happens on the podcast. You might be @ Costco, and the carnage won't be pretty.

I have been an avid listener for about a year now. And Infected (and now Contagious) are the final straw. I have had it! I simply can't live without buying these books. Amazon is shipping them now. Thanks for such great stories!
