I felt it could have used another version or two or have someone look it over with a critical eye. There were a lot of clumsy sentences and in some parts you repeated the same words a few times, which is awkward to the ears. I don’t expect professional writing from Podiobooks but there should be some competence. As for the story, it had it’s interesting moments, enough to keep me listening. The middle was the best part, where Dead Eyes was figuring his powers out. I think you needed to build the relationships between the characters more before the murder. It took me a while to get into the story and I think that was the main reason. However, the chapters after the murder and even the murder itself was very well done, I kept hoping the story would get better from then on and it did but nothing in the story reached the height of those scenes.
