I’m not a huge fan of fantasy books, but this one kept my attention. I’m glad to see that the last chapter has finally been finished and the feed is marked as complete. It’s taken a long long time to get through this book, but it’s been a good ride.

Despite the small audio issues, I fell so in love with this story that I listened to every single episode in 2 days!!! Amazing… I am looking forward to hearing the 2nd book

The last 2 episodes have been recorded, and mostly edited. For the second to last episode there had been a lot of discussion of how to handle one sequence that prevented it from being released.

That has now been solved, and we expect the last 2 episodes to be released very quickly now.

I really love this book! Now i’m just waiting on the last couple of chapters, there’s more right? it doesn’t just stop at Chapter 30 right? When are more episodes coming up? Thanks for making this podcast available it’s such a fun book to listen to.

Hi AngelEyes, I’m sorry to hear your having issues with the music. As to how many chapters are left, as of today (August 15th) there are 3 chapters to finish the book.

We will also be putting out the first chapter of the sequel, Griffins Shadow, as well in this feed.

Ms. Moore has been kept busy with her day job, as well new writing that she is trying to market to be published. Though we are hoping the final chapters will be put out in short order.

Like the story line and the characters. However the music is a little louder than I prefer as I must adjust my volume to hear the voices. Also wondering how many chapters are left. I have started the book twice with the hope that the last chapters would be completed before I catch up again. This has taught me not to start a book unless it is completed as I am always impatient to finish it once I am involved with the story. I always finish a book before I do my rating.

Hi Eric,

I’m sorry for the issues you’ve had with the sound, I had thought by the current chapters those had been taken care of.

It does seem I did forget to number chapters 27 and 28. However:

In Perfect Union is Chapter 27
The Coming Darkness is Chapter 28

They should also be numbered as such track wise.

The story is excellent, but the technical details make it hard or confusing to follow…

The opening music is a little bit too loud for those of us who need to turn up the volume to understand the narration.

and the feed that I’m looking at skips from chap 26 to chap 29 – is this intentional, or did I miss several episodes….(I’m holding off on listening to Epi 29 until I know it doesn’t contain spoilers for 26,27 and 28)

What happen? I’m still waiting for the next chapter. Its been a long long time now. And I just hate it when an author’s episodes dyes (fades) out.

I absolutely love this podiobook. Sure it has it’s hiccups here and there, but the story is compelling enough that i’ve been sucked into it for a long time.

On that note.. it’s sure been a while since a new episode was released. I know you all have lives outside of the podiobook world, but can’t we have a couple of new chapters yet?! just one, or two… or five hehehe!

I downloaded the second promo file (”paerts 3 and 4″) this week and found an entirely dead spot between 4:06 and 4:30. Please check. (This is not a problem with my player. Audacity shows the silence.)

It does appear some of the early chapters were not as polished as they should have been. It’s being corrected now, I’ll make another post once the new versions of the first 4 episodes replace the old ones.
