Hey, Stacey! Good to see more from you on Podiobooks. I really enjoy short stories, especially in the author's own voice...kinda special. I do have a problem with the printed word, I'm legally blind and find reading a difficult thing to do. That is why Podiobooks and other audio book formats my kind of reading now. I wish all you authors would put your novels in audio format and promote that as well. Until I can purchase them on audio, I am addicted to Podiobooks, and will hope for more releases to say audible.com/

Hi Hannah,

A couple people have mentioned this to me privately. The pronunciation was done on purpose, as the Americanized pronunciation includes the "T" sound. If you listen to the pronunciation tool at dictionary.com for "Kiribati" the American pronunciation includes the "T" sound. As the story is narrated by a lower-working class American, the choice to Americanize the pronunciation was conscious and deliberate.

I appreciate your feedback though. It helps to process my thoughts here. Thanks.

I feel compelled to note that "Kiribati" is pronounced "Kiribas", since the letter T is pronounced as an S (only 13 letters in their alphabet). Just an FYI.

I really liked Amber Page, so I am excited to listen to these stories. Thanks!

Ummm..... are we going to see anymore? Loved the setup in the first couple of chapters that were released four days apart. Now we're coming up on two weeks later and I'm really itching for more. Any chance we could also get this through iTunes? I've searched for it but it's not listed.
