Spend an hour on YouTube with 3 podiobook authors
Stacey Cochrane, author of The Colorado Sequence and Amber Page, has more than just new media chops. He also hosts his own television show (The Artist’s Craft). Coming back full circle, Stacey has been putting up some long-form videos up on YouTube for a bit more “sticking” power.
Recently he captured P.G. Holyfield (Murder at Avedon Hill) and Mur Lafferty (just search for her) for a conversation entitled “Podcast Novel, Podiobooks, Online Community for Writers“. If you find the subject interesting and have nearly an hour to kill (Note: when did YouTube start allowing files of that length?), give it a listen to hear someone other than me to get up on the soapbox.

This video is professionally done and quite good, allowing for the wobbly camera. The audience is completely unfamiliar with the language of podcasting, so I was reminded again how new the technology is, and how much explaining still has to be done when speaking to the general public.

Thanks for pointing this out, Evo, I might have missed it otherwise.
