The Chocolate Frog Sailors

Now available for your downloading pleasure, William Pawley’s humorous novel The Chocolate Frog Sailors:

Learning to grow-up on the fly a long way from home: With a passion for the navy, young and naive 16 year old Barney joins his first ship direct from training and is thrown headlong into a man’s man world, foolishly bye-passing adolescence in his hunger to be one of the boys. Funny: rude: crude: innocent: loving: full of pathos for those growing up and also the ones who have grown up…

I really like this book. There are some audio and editing issues that make getting into the book a bit difficult, but I’m enjoying the story and the characters a lot and just wanted to thank you for putting it up here, and encourage you to keep going with it.

Hmm seems like the book has been removed. That kinda sucks, was just getting into it. What happened?

The narrator’s voice was boring and not captivating. The story was crude and lacked an intelligent plotline. I cant understand why someone would waste their time on this pish. The entire story seemed to be an exersise in bolstering the authors ego with little thought toward the reader/listener. The characterisation of the main protagonists were poorly drawn, the narration verbose and tedious and the whole thing absolutly pointles. Please, Pawley, do not bother to upload any further episodes, and so spare the world further suffering.
