what else it there to do but laugh at mainstream religionists, you captured the mood perfectly, whilst not offending those to whom its a personal issue. a very difficult line to tread.

great sense of cynicism which is now such a treasonable act. and never again (as an ex brit) will i accuse america of being an irony free zone.

Greg, I started listening to Crusade on my work commute last week. Currently on Chapter 16 and I am totally hooked. Your writing style & narration is intelligent and witty. However, your girly voices are a little disturbing! It’s hard to visualise a tiny Vietnamese hooker…oops, i mean massage therapist, while listening to your alcohol soaked Barry White turned transsexual tones!! The story is sick, twisted & perverted and I love it. Not recommended for those of a religious nature as they tend to lack the sense of humour required to accept good natured ridicule. I must find more of your work.

I listened to Crusade about 3 weeks ago (thinking it was a book on the crusades) to my surprise i absolutly loved it! I’m a non fiction reader 99% of the time, but you had me laughing more in thoes few hours than i had laughed in a year! So bummed was i when it was over, i scouted the web and downloaded Dunkin I&II, Hard boiled, and The hell hermit!!! However having a addictive personality like i do, I’ve finished listening to thoes too!! I think your writing is amazing! I feel I owe you at least fifty bucks for the joy you have given me, but your going to have to accept my I.O.U. for now, but it is in my plan to do you right.
So now, because i feel the need to share the joy of your sick and demented mind, i have two friends currently listening to Crusade, and ( now this is just wrong of me ) even my 73 year old catholic mother!!
Greg , Please keep up the good work. like Dunkin needs food, and Devlin needs booze, I NEED YOU!

Amazing book man, I was listening to it while at the current hellhole i call a job, locked inside my cage (cubicle) and damn this is hilarious. You have an amazing way with words, so far i am in chapter 16………and wow my co-workers thought i was finally having that mental breakdown i had promised so long ago b/c of the insane laughter that was pouring out of me. Good job man.

This was fabulous! I nearly laughed myself off the cardio machine! I paid $10.00, which was extravagant, but my judgment was so distorted by the by-proxy consumption of liquor and cocaine that I didn’t mind a bit.

I was gonna respond yesterday, but I read Zeus talking about Cabo Wabo and Dave talking about raising a bottle; so heck, I had to raise my own bottle in the spirit of appreciation. And… uh, I forgot to put mine down. Now it’s tomorrow, and I promised myself yesterday that I’d drink some tomorrow. And apparently that’s today, so I need to make this response short because it’s drinking time. Thanks! Dave! Zeus! Tomorrow, while I’m drinking, because I promised I’d drink yesterday, and won’t remember if I drank or not, I’ll remind myself to say something nice to the listeners… but I’ll forget, because I probably drank too much the day before.

Greg!! You’re incredible and I’m a big fan. Don’t let it make ‘ur head big!! You’re a natural writer and reader and have come up with some of the best stories on this site. I regularly find myself laughing out loud in the car..people must think I’m crazy. For anyone that hasn’t had the pleasure of Greg’s other Podiobooks, look ‘em up. I can’t believe Gabriel paid $55 for his ordination as a minister. I got mine for free and its completely legal (by which I mean someone of authority decided it was hilarious enough to prevent others in authority from screwing with my religious freedom to not be religious and to doom couples of the opposite sex to the legal burdens of marriage for a fee).

$55 is almost enough for two 750ML bottles of Cabo Wabo Tequila Blanco, the loss of which is a travesty.
