THis was, by far, one of the most entertaining stories I've yet heard. I'm usually a fan of far more serious stories, such as those spun by Scott Sigler or David Weber, but I can honestly say that this audio presentation had me absolutely rapt from beginning to end...I could have listened for another 3 hours-at least. Excellent audio-dramatics, foley work, and presentation overall. I will look forward to the next installment with utmost anticipation. Well, "mistake" might be too severe of a word considering after the first episode I had to take half a day off work to listen to the whole series in its entirety. The whole series is wicked-brilliant! I only wish the author hadn't wrapped-up the end of the series so neatly that I can't imagine room for a sequel. Hopefully she will surprise me... soon (hint, hint). Wonderful cameos and great surf music! The only thing left dangling was that I kept waiting for somebody to say "I'm Wrong" at the most inopportune moment. Again, giant kudos to Ms Ellis and the crew! The main characters have this strange quality where you want to hate them for doing bad things, but sympathize with them because you know the in the same situation, you'd probably do the same thing. The use of a varied cast for the different characters really added to the production as well. I can't wait to hear what she does next.
