Great Story, very engaging. A nice voice helps the treatment of the story. Why is there no hard back version? With a good editor this could really go somewhere.

Interesting story. Nice premise. Production values are pretty good. Speed it up a bit. You have a good voice that can handle the diction nicely and if read too slow, the story seems halting. Keep up the good work.

Great story with just the right amount of suspense. Narrator has an excellent voice with good enunciation and clarity. Maintains the right speed to allow imagery to form in the mind. Really waiting for more.

I love this book. Great story with all the right elements. Can’t wait for more episodes.

Great podio, is it me or does the beginning resemble the nativity story, king Harod and all. I think the pace of reading is quite right, gives the imagination time to catch up. Give me more dude.

There seems to be a disconnect between episode 8 and 9. Things are talked abotu that have not happened.

Hey Everyone,
Sorry but when I uploaded chapter 9 I used the wrong content. I’m really sorry for the mix up, if you got the wrong chapter please just delete the one that you have and re-download 9 and the right content will be there. Thank you for your patience.

The book is very entertaining and I am really enjoying it. Keep it up, please. Also, thanks for the heads up regarding Chapter 9.

One of the many things I really like about this story is that the main characters are encumbered with personal issues. Sasha has seizures, Keither is socially awkward, and so on. This makes the characters far more enjoyable for me. Keep up the good work.

I have truly enjoyed this book. The storyline is compelling and the action is just right; the development of characters is great. Keep up the good work!

I have been enjoying the story very much, but the reading speed is a bit slow. I find it dragging the story down and taking something from the action of the main story. Love the character development, details, etc, but please read a bit faster. Look to Phillippa Ballantine or Tee Morris for good examples of an author reading their work.

I love this story. Great ideas on magic use, I might steal some of your ideas if I ever start writing my 3000 page novel
. Great work.

I’m really enjoying the story. I see I am not the only one who feels the speed is a bit slow. When you read a characters part, the speed is great, but when you speak as the narrator it drags the story down. Thanks for a good story all the same.

I really enjoy the plot of the story, but I had to stop listening to it. I fall asleep with the quiet, and slowwwwww speed of the narration so finally just gave up on it…

I agree, I love the concept of the story but it’s read far too slowly. I feel like saying “hurry up to the next word!”.

Nick…
Mixed review here… I loved the concepts, the characters, the concept, and all content…
However… First off, the volume level of your voice when you doing the narratives is totally weak and unacceptable unless I cranked up my MP3 player to level 23 or 24, (max on mine is 25) making it dangerously loud at times when you did characters, (you did a good volume level on characters by the way)
Second, after reading a bit of the postings I see I’m in the majority of opinions about your narration method in the book… Toooooo S . L . O . W !! At times it seemed like you, yourself, got bored…
I do like your characters, use of Elfin Magic, Dragons, etc… On the whole, if you get the book in print, it’ll be a good one…
It’s a lot of work, I’m sure everyone realizes, to read a book, edit it, mix it, etc. But do you think you might be willing to allow someone else to read it? I honestly would hate to lose the Authors passion for his characters, story, and the book in general, but I like a few others simply couldn’t get past the low volume in the narrations, and the narration method…
Sorry…

The story is excellent, HOWEVER . . .
It is a real chore to get past the slow reading style, inconsistent volume and atrocious grammar (was is not the universal form for singular and plural).

Excellent story! Now the pain: The reading is MUCH too slow, the volume is WAY too low for the story (have to max out the ipod or car stereo volume and it’s STILL too low even with noise-canceling headphones), and the grammar is absolutely terrible.
I struggle to keep listening as the story itself is very good, but it’s really difficult to keep going and I don’t know whether I can make it to the end. At the very least please adjust the volume on the narration. The commentary is 4 to 5 times louder which is where the story should be.

Hey Everyone thanks so much for the feed back. I’d like to star by apologizing for the sound quality and grammar, when I wrote Legon I was writing a chapter and then that weekend recording it and posting to try and keep from falling behind. That being said I’m am currently in the process of rewriting Legon Awakening and I have an editor now, so the issue of grammar should be taken care of. As for the audio I have all new equipment and will be taking all of your suggestions into mind when I rerecord. I’m not changing much in the story so if you have or are still listening to this version you wont be missing out. The new version still wont be out for a few months, but for an example of the audio check out 8810. thank you again for all of your feedback it really helps out a ton, and I’m glad to see that people like the story. thanks

Hey Nicholas, I am currently listening to Legon awakening up to chapter 20 now. The story is good and I am looking forward to Legon Ascention that you mention several times. You said it is due Jan / Feb 2008 but it is now May 2009 and I don’t see it anywhere. I am looking forward to it. By the way, I am glad to hear you will be sorting out the audio quality as it really is distracting in the version I am currently listening to.
Keep up the good work, donation coming shortly. Robin.

Superior story, can’t wait for the next, thanks! I even came to appreciate the slow pace as it allowed me to catch everything without having to rewind. I also appreciated the effort made to distinguish the voices. However, the falsetto voices of some of the women were really hard to take, and would have stopped me on a lesser story.
