Podiobook author named Barnes and Nobel “Author of the Month”
Today I received and email from Barry McArdle, author of I Sold The Moon!. He’s one of the many authors who does readings and book signings at various retail book stores. Only in his case, he gives away an acre of the moon (just take that at face value) with each copy of the book you buy. What a great marketing idea! And it seems to have worked:
I wanted to let your subscribers know that I was recently named a Barnes and Nobel “Author of the Month.” They awarded me this because I sold more copies of my book than any other “unknown” author at a book signing event held in one of their locations.
Congrats, Barry. I need to get my certificate of ownership framed.

Dear Barnes and Nobel,
I am inquiring about a novel I read about 70 years ago. It has a
story that would be popular in these times. I remember nothing
about the book except a few clips. It was about a scientist who
had his body preserved and entomed to be awakened at the
start of the twentyn first century. He awakened to find the U.S. being ruled by a group of “nonintellectual” people. Not a word is said about race or color. It was about non-intellectuals being in the government and intellectual people being pushed
into secondary positions as a minority group.
Can you help me find this book ?
