Top o’ the podiobook to ya!
Monday is St. Patrick’s Day, even though my wall calendar doesn’t show it. Stupid wall calendar. To help put you in the mood, here are a few titles associated — to varying degrees — with the holiday. Now someone get me a green beer!
-
Shadowmagic by John Lenahan. This is one of our most popular serialized free audiobooks and is “very loosely based on Irish mythology”.
Half Share by Nathan Lowell. The accompanying music is “An Irish Jig” recorded in 1928. Plus the story rocks.
Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Why this one? Well… it has green in the title?
How to Succeed in Evil - Volume One by Patrick McLean. I’m going with the St. ‘Patrick’s’ day theme. Roll with it.
Murder at Avedon Hill by P.G. Holyfield. The “P” in P.G. stands for Patrick. See above.
The Communion of the Saint by Alan David Justice. If you granted me a pass on “Patrick”, you’ve gotta give me the same for “saint”. Nope, not going to do all the titles that have “day” in them, so relax.
Judge Fogg by Randy O’Brien. - Oh, come on. That name has got to be Irish.
The Arwen by Timothy Callahan. Less obvious, the the three of us at my table are convinced this name is Irish, too.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!
