His original rant was surprising and he was doubtless amazed at the storm of controversy he dug up. It is easy to dismiss his views as typical of one who has achieved a position in the "old school way" (whether it is writing, journalism or even welding) and resists any change that may make it less meaningful, however he does have some good points and I would like to hear a good debate on the subject. Perhaps he can borrow some boxing gloves from Uwe Boll. I would love to hear Mr. Hendrix debate a successful new-era writer.
