What about Nathan Lowell’s Quarter Share?

  5. Geordon Says:

YEah, what Gail 2 said! How can you forget Nate?

Additionally, I see that there are several others that are nominated but not mentioned here.

I didn’t forget Nate. I love his series of books. The books above made it to the final round. Follow the link and I think you’ll see we didn’t skip anyone.

Pardon me while I go self-flagellate. My apologies, I had missed that you were listing the FINALISTS, not just the nominees.

    I beg your forgiveness, Evo.

As a side note, I see that I have listened to most of the finalists from PB! There are a couple that are I haven’t hit the interest (Heaven, Long Way From Disney) and one still in my “listening queue” (Singularity). Guess I should go back and take another look at Heaven and Long Way!

  8. Doug, the Parsec guy. Says:

I, too, am sorry to see that Nate didn’t make it to the final round. There were a lot of great books in the long specfic category. Shadowmagic was #6 and Quarter Share was #7. Of the top 7, I’ve listened to all but 1 (Shadow Falls), and they are all great works.

One thing about Quarter Share, though – it’s a great place to be – just to curl up in that universe. However, the way Parsecs, by necessity, are set up, we only listen to 10 minutes of audio, and I don’t think Quarter Share translates will in that short of a clip.
