Whilst this series was what got me into audiobooks initially, it would have been really good if the bad guys had won this round! That way, there would be more!

My love for this trilogy is never-ending. I finished all three books recently and I had to give my regards to the author, the audio editor, and the music artists - this book and its sisters are the best thing I have read yet this year, and last year. The story is compelling and the charectors are believable to a point where I feel as though I could sit down over a cup of coffee and talk to them myself. Another thing I absolutely adored about this trilogy is that the J.C. didn’t go overboard with the voices, as I’ve heard many preforming authors do. Perhaps an octave higher, perhaps lower, maybe slightly nasally, or even gruff - nothing over the top, and all perfectly understated.

I cannot wait to buy a copy of 7th Son: Book One: Descent for myself and to share with everyone so they will know the compelling tale of the beta clones, and I definatly cannot wait to hear more tales from J.C. Hutchins in the future

I love the story you have done a great job with both the plot and the characters. I admit to fast forwarding through the story so far and the end ads but only because I listened to the episodes so quickly i knew what the story was and Infection will be my next and I did donate money I love the whole podiobooks concept.

My only complaint is the volume on the music at the beginning and end of the story. I listen while working out and in somewhat noisy places and the story level is fine at full volume but the end music could blow eardrums with the volume rise.

This is a great Trilogy. The whole story was excellant and I felt it finished on a real high. There were lots of intersting twists in the final book.

My only criticism would be that sometimes the nail-biting parts of the story were being dragged a bit long than required. The narration of the worldwide chaos caused by Alpha was really good. The events were explained very well to make them believable.

Hats off to JC for wonderfully giving distinct voices to the great many number of characters in the novel including the seven Betas. I found the “story so far” at the begining of all the episodes to be very useful. However I hated the long ad like stuff at the end.

Congrats to JC on the book deal and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours. I might not be buying the book but I did donate money through podiobooks.com as a token of my appreciation and thanks.

If you are listening to this story, but haven’t read the other two? What the heck do you think you are doing? Go and read book 1 and 2 first, and then come to book 3. Go on! We’ll wait.

Okay, everyone on the same page again? Great.
This story is great, no scratch that, it’s AWESOME! It’s a must read, a hang-on-to-yer-seat-here’s-another-cliffhanger story, it’s a d*mn-you-JC-for-making-this-story-so-addictive story. It really plays out as a movie in your head.
JC really pulls it off. It seems as if this novel was made for the podiobooks format.
This third novel is a fitting end to the thrillride that is 7th Son. The revelations, the stand off at the 7th Son complex, the sad moments at the funerals. I don’t want to spoil anything to any new listeners out there, let me just say this: you must listen to this! Yes, “must”; it’s mandatory.
If you listen to podiobooks, then you must listen to this whole series.

Oh and congrats on the print-deal. (Any chances of translations? I know quite a few Dutch people who’d love this story, but aren’t that well versed in English.)

Thanks JC for a great story. Absolutely loved it. I loved that it took 3 books to tell the story because I got to caring for the Betas.

I remember Evo telling me about the story 2 years ago and saying that it was a must read/listen. I can’t wait till it’s in print.

Wow. Finished in time for Christmas.

Just downloaded the last episode; I’ll listen to it during my cycle home. Might have to detour to hear the whole thing. Actually feeling quite sad that it’s all over…

Any plans to release this on slices of dead tree at all? I’d love to have this on my bookshelf…

You really know how to tug at ones heartstrings, don’t you?
Getting me all misty eyed over the funerals of a few fictitious people (without the use of a dramatic score, like Hollywood does).
I was driving my freaking car at that time! I wasn’t able to really cry!
Damn you!

(no accidents occured, other than a few tears in my eyes)

Actually I’m quite saddened by the realisation that the story is going to end. All good things and all that, but still I’m sad. More I beg of you, more! (moar?)

John Alpha is the President of the United States?! (Heard the excellent promo on N1B). Brilliant!!! The 7th Son podcasts have made my 1 hr cycle-commute seem to pass in the blink of an eye! I love it, need it, crave it! Perhaps JC has been psyjacked by Scott Sigler and this is why we have been left hanging for so long!!!

I want.. née… NEED more 7th Son! It’s just that amazing.

I listened to the first book rather patiently. Took one episode a week. Until book 2. I really blazed through that, an episode a day, sometimes 2 or 3.
And now the same with book 3. It’s addicting, it grabs you either by the cojonas or by some other body parts, and drags you through the story at blinding pace, leaving you hanging after each episode. It’s a true rollercoaster ride.
And now I need more. MORE! JC, our true master, please give us more.

(but indeed business before pleasure, Code Phantom needs to be written too. Can’t you let some clone do the recording? )
