The Veingel
A brand new horror/dark fantasy book by Jeremy James, called The Veingel.
When an ancient religious cult hunts his people to the brink of extinction, Jequon, a half-angel, half-human badass fights for the survival of his noble race.
But as his enemies’ holy-caust gains support from powerful officials in the U.S. government, our hero is forced to seek help from an unlikely source: a woman defined by her faith in the same God who wants him dead.
Even worse, he starts to fall for her.

When I first saw Jeremy’s link elsewhere I checked it out and was immediately impressed by the content. It was only fitting that he put the work up at Podiobooks. Welcome to the community, JJ!

There is nothing I like to read about more than a compelling strong man who is up against a mysterious enemy. Jequon, the main character, is like a modern James Bond combined with the wisdom of a being as old as the world itself. A fun, action packed read so far!

love it! i love the story, your voice, your accent, your style, the music…
i prefer it when an author reads his stuff himself rather than having others read it, and you’re doing a great and flawless job.

This book moves from crouch to full sprint in a matter of only moments and then doesn’t let up. A fascinating mythos and milieu–obviously there is some deep history lurking here.
Check it out.
