Out with the frogz, in with the tea!

As promised in the last post, I’ve switched out the intro that plays on your episodes. Shorter. Very different feel. I’m curious as to how you react. It may take a while for the changes to propagate through the system and then even longer for folks to grab new episodes.

Also, I’ve added some additional layers of transparency (Wow, that sounds strange to say) by placing links to the advertisers on the side bar of the blog. Now you don’t have to remember the URL Leann gives you in the audio file. Just come to the blog, and you’ll see it!

Because of the propagation and time-delay factors, I’m putting links to the current and the previous audio ads on the site. Hooray for transparency!

I’m sorry, but isn’t making something more visible removing layers of transparency, if anything?? Perhaps there’s a reason it sounds strange to say…

Unless, of course ,you define transparency as making something more clear. I understand that, with an ego of your size, redefining the dictionary seems not only trivial, but damn necessary at times.

;-). Like the links - I’ll let you know about the clips.

I get it - you’ve made the adds clearer by adding transparency to the white space that was previously obfuscating them.

    Layers, man. Deep.

I am very glad to hear this, as on Evo’s recommendation, I’ve tried the Adagio teas, and I can give them my enthusiastic recommendation as well. Very, very good. If all you’ve ever had is lipton instant, you really owe it to yourself to try something better.

Don’t you have a web application to work on, Kress? ;)

Two, Taskmaster E. But this is what I do at my paying job - your long arm of control can’t reach me here!

  6. Mad Marv Says:

Hey, is the Adagio Teas link broken for anyone else or is it just me?

  7. Evo Says:

Works when I click it, Marv. But others, feel free to troubleshoot! It’s just an href through a redirect. It’s possible that you are blocking access to advertising sites like Commission Junction. Would not be the first time. :)

The intro advertising the tea is nice and short, but I wasn’t sure at first if it was a genuine ad, just the way the copy is read, like the announcer has a little joke going on.
