MacUser Magazine recommends Podiobooks.com

No, you don’t have to be a Mac user to enjoy these audiobooks. But for those who are and have managed to miss this wave, MacUser magazine just put out a very nice write up on the whole idea of podcast novels, stating:

If you’re looking for some entertainment this weekend, go listen to a podcast novel. More often then not, authors record their own books, and they record them well. The voice talent on most podiobooks is remarkable, and with the occasional sound effect, it creates an immersive experience.
