Reality of life as a published author

I’m a fan of David Louis Edelman. Loved his book Infoquake and am eagerly awaiting the sequel. (Damned sequels.) Yesterday, he posted Five Things That Don’t Happen When You Become a Published Author on his blog. Worthy of reading for anyone interested in a writing (or related) career.
