All Is Beautiful: The Navajo Creation Story
Jabez Van Cleef brings us one of the world’s classic myths, re-imagined as an epic poem:
Since the beginning of time, human beings have told the story of their own beginning, and of the origins of the four directions, the heavens, the God-People, the earth, and all its creatures. The Navajo People tell a story of great psychological power and depth.

I finished the story in just two days. I quite enjoyed it. The beginning was a bit odd to get into, but after about three episodes I had it down. The narration quality was quite good and the narrator has a good voice. Probably the biggest problem was the low volume that it was recorded at. I really had to turn up my iPod to really hear it and become immersed in it. The mixing with the music was quite nice, just turn up the volume on the microphone a bit.

Folks, I loved the beginning, and wanted to listen more, however, I really could not hear it…the volume was so low, that in order to hear, I had to raise the volume to a point that distorted the voice. I surely hope this will be repaired, as I am hoping very much to hear the rest.
Thank you.

This is a fantastic book. It is one that all should hear. I grew up with a good friend that is navajo and he always said to me that our language is one of feeling, much more than a written word. He is right and this book speaks to it.
