The Corridor
Another holiday gift from the folks at Podiobooks.com! Presenting “The Corridor” by Zan!
Stuart Morrow is a man who has lost all hope and reason to live. However, a strange coincidence brings him unexpectedly into contact with a multitude of worlds beyond our own. Hunted by a despot who rules over countless alternate realities, Stuart’s only hope is to seek help amongst the assortment of bizarre and grotesque characters who await him in the Corridor.

Great writing, character development and storytelling. Can’t wait to read the rest as it gets posted.
One quibble: seems to be a 10 second gap in the audio “in which stuart is captured by Suited Men”. It goes from about 6:32 to 6:42. (could potentially just be some problem with the download, but i dont _think_ so).
December 28th, 2006 at 4:42 pm
Hi Samantha,
Thanks for the positive review, and for pointing out the technical problem with the fourth episode. Yes, it was all my fault, and I’ve uploaded another file with the offending ten seconds removed. I hope you continue to enjoy the story.
January 9th, 2007 at 3:37 am
Hi zan really enjoying the book so far.
Was a little sceptical at first but as the story has gone on it has developed into a fast paced little action/scifi adventure.
Reminiscent in tone to bill desmitts singularity in that a man takes a journey that brings in to his life people that he has been trying to keep out.
So keep it up and dont leave us hanging too long between episodes.:-)
January 27th, 2007 at 7:04 pm
Hey Zan first off, awesome work! I am a podcast junky and can say that never have I came across something like this. What an awesome storyline! Keep up the great work! Wish there were more episodes per week but I will definitely take what you give.
Again awesome work keep it up and I’m off to write a review on ITunes for The Corridor, and let everyone there know what I think of it too.
February 2nd, 2007 at 11:31 pm
Great story. Really enjoying it. One thing though, the into / outro music goes on for a bit. As good as it is and as much as it suites the story, its a bit long.
Other than that really good.
February 5th, 2007 at 1:31 am
hey zan please dont shorten the music i look forward to listening to it at the start of the episode and even more at the end of the episode and still loving the story it twists and turns superbly.Give us more grrrraaaaahhhh!!!!!
February 5th, 2007 at 8:16 pm
Hmm. I thought discussion of the music would be contentious, given that it has its admirers. How about I produce an upcoming episode with shortened music, and provide the opportunity for feedback on the web page? That way I can settle the question in a democratic way.
February 10th, 2007 at 5:12 pm
Nigel, you’re right, the music does really suit the story. I missed this discussion until now, so it’s time to throw in my two cents worth. Zan, do what you like with the music, I won’t love it any less. (What I’ll be thinking, of course, is that if and when there’s a CD, those of use who love the music will have all we want.)
Where did this music come from anyway? Did you write it as well as the story?
February 13th, 2007 at 7:22 am
I’m still marveling that I made the last post without using the word “Philistine.”
Seriously, making the right decision for the story feed is a different thing from recording music for listening pleasure. So that brings us to the questions, “Is this music available for download? And if so, where?” Which causes me to wonder if the credits are out there and I just missed them. It’s only virtual egg on my virtual face.
And Zan, although the music adds to the story, and I walk around humming it all day and wondering what other permutations it might have, it isn’t why I keep listening. Will Stuart ever learn his way around … “The Corridor?”
February 20th, 2007 at 4:29 am
The music is my own composition, and I was only kidding about releasing a soundtrack CD. However, I’m toying with the idea of having at least one alternative version of the theme appear at a later date.
February 24th, 2007 at 10:34 pm
At first I was really annoyed by the length of the music.. now that I’m into the story I’m also in to the music.
Looking forward to the next episode!
February 25th, 2007 at 6:17 pm
Thank you Zan, for coming clean about that music. Awesome. Really awesome.
I know you were kidding about the CD, but hey, I’d buy it. If and when you have a whole work, you might consider a venue such as Magnatunes, with the right encouragement (nagging?). Making comments about the theme music has caused me to think more about it and how it reflects the story.
Alternate away. It will be more awesome stuff to listen to. (Sorry to call it “stuff,” I was in the marching band in high school and some of those technical terms just won’t go away.)
March 2nd, 2007 at 7:41 am
I thought I’d post a comment about my thoughts on your story. There have been previous comments made about the music in the podcast intro. I personally think its great and have no problem with it. I think it does great in setting the mood to listen to the story. The story itself is a little dark and brooding like the music before it.
I really enjoy science fiction. I like reading about being taken to other worlds and times which are much different than our own; or alternate universes where certain decisions may have been made differently. So, I can really get into any story that involves other times, places, or otherworldliness. The Corridor appeals to that desire. I’m really glad to see that a podcast auther has tapped into that.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next episode.
March 3rd, 2007 at 9:26 pm
Hmmm…interesting names the author picks. When I first heard the word “prodromos” I thought it sounded like an obscure insectoid body part.
I totally agree with Greg’s take on the podcast, stories that involve other-worldliness attract me. I love the music (longer or shorter never made any difference to me), but I’ve never cared much for the podcast graphic.
Honestly, the highest personal comment I can give is that, as a college undergrad on a veeeeerry tight budget, this is material that I would actually pay money for. If it ever comes out in print, I’ll be there to pick up my copy. : )
March 5th, 2007 at 4:00 pm
Man, let’s not start on the cover art, now; we’ve only just put the theme music issue to bed! I wanted the graphic to be a bit abstract, as I think fantasy cover art tends to be a bit kitsch for my taste. (Also, I can make music but I can’t draw.) Anyway, thanks for the otherwise positive comments.
March 29th, 2007 at 6:16 pm
(Yes, sir. Not arguing with you, sir.)
I read the story description many times before I listened to the first episode. Now we’re well into Book 4, and I’m realizing how impossible it is to briefly describe this story. When I try to describe the story as a whole, I find I don’t think of it that way, I think of it as a series of vivid pictures, sometimes with smells.
The characters are so well drawn that discussing them feels like talking behind their backs, and these are not creatures I care to offend.
April 6th, 2007 at 1:58 pm
Let me try again.
I love this book.
In all my years of reading, I have seldom come across a story so rich in character and plot that it defies being described in a sound byte.
The Corridor is such a story. It is certainly worthy of an ink and paper deal.
April 17th, 2007 at 6:20 pm
Wonderful book Zan, one of the best one’s I’ve heard on Podiobooks and I’ve listened to a lot. I was lucky that I had a long trip to take this weekend because I got a chance to listen to about 5 chapters in a row instead of one per day and it was a treat. 5 stars all around and I can’t wait to hear how it ends.
April 18th, 2007 at 10:19 am
I really like this book; it is well up among the best on Podiobooks. If you like a good ‘page-turner’ where you really can’t fore-guess what’s going to happen in the next chapter, let alone the ending, this is for you.
Very difficult to categorise, some of the events described are so unusual you can only wonder at the author’s powers of imagination.
April 22nd, 2007 at 3:14 pm
I’m having a problem downloading “Book 4: Coming and Going; Chapter 3: The Apprentice, Again”
Thanks
AWB
April 23rd, 2007 at 1:18 am
Hi AWB,
As you’re probably aware, the Podiobooks team has had a few technical headaches lately, which they’ve almost recovered from. I’ve let them know about the problem with that episode, and I’m sure they’ll have it fixed soon. In the meantime, you can always download it from the story’s website using the ‘Visit the Author’s Website’ link.
April 23rd, 2007 at 8:02 am
AWB and Zan - problem solved.
April 23rd, 2007 at 6:18 pm
Thanks, Evo!
April 25th, 2007 at 11:07 am
Zan,
Like several others have said, I’ve listened to quite a few podcast novels and your story is definitely in the very top tier.
I can never tell where this story is going!
Thanks for putting it out there.
Shay
April 29th, 2007 at 11:13 pm
Thanks Zan & Evo
May 2nd, 2007 at 3:29 pm
Hi Tim,
I’ve let the Podiobooks guys know about the problem, and I’m sure they’ll have it fixed soon. In the meantime, don’t forget that you can get the episode from The Corridor website as well.
May 2nd, 2007 at 5:39 pm
I’m having trouble downloading book 5 chapter 3 from iTunes. When I clicked it from the link I got a file can not be found error message page.
May 3rd, 2007 at 5:51 am
Tim and Zan - Problem solved. Sorry about that.
May 22nd, 2007 at 6:00 pm
Dear Listeners,
I thought I should post a warning that there is currently an episode missing from the Podiobooks listing. Before Book 6: Through the Corridor; Chapter 4: The Travelling Case (episode 47) comes Book 6: Through the Corridor; Chapter 3: The Lucky Whore (episode 46), which is not currently listed here. I wouldn’t want anyone to listen to episodes in the current order, only to discover too late that they’d missed part of the story.
Until the missing episode is posted here, you can get it at The Corridor website.
June 3rd, 2007 at 11:16 am
All,
The missing chapter has been corrected. Sorry for the delay!
E.
June 4th, 2007 at 10:14 am
I am using ITunes and nothing coming down since Book 5 Chapter 1.
I even attempted to re-subscribe. Please fix it. Thank you.
June 4th, 2007 at 1:32 pm
Arkadi,
I just checked your feed. All episodes are there. I just dropped your feed into iTunes. All episodes are there. Click the little triangle to the left of the title of the book and click the “get” button to cause iTunes to retrieve the episodes.
E.
June 4th, 2007 at 5:19 pm
Hi Arkadi,
Bear in mind that iTunes can sometimes take a little while to refresh the feed. I’m guessing that was the problem.
And thanks for the help, Evo.
July 8th, 2007 at 4:16 pm
Great book, Zan. It is good to see another Australian author with a book at Podiobooks. The Corridor is addictive so I am devouring the book quickly. Thanks for uploading this excellent book.
As a side note, when are you are going to join Facebook? We’d really love to see you there, my mysterious companion.
August 21st, 2007 at 3:43 am
Well I got to the end. Its been a wild and interesting ride and I have enjoy it all. Thanks for such a great story.
August 21st, 2007 at 5:40 am
Thank you…… This was an amazing story. I enjoyed it greatly.
It is so rare now days to see some one coming out with some really interesting concepts. You did it. I will hope for next book.
August 21st, 2007 at 8:39 am
I loved it. The author shows great talent. His interweaving of plot threads was masterful–I had no idea what was going to happen next, nor how or when it would all end. His descriptions and writing style were vivid and engaging. And he seems to have created a genre, new to me at least: modern-day fantasy with mystery and even some horror mixed in. I anxiously awaited each new episode.
Very, very highly recommended. A jewel waiting to be discovered.
August 21st, 2007 at 12:56 pm
Zan takes the listener on an adventure as unpredictable and exciting as the energy which fuels the Corridor itself. The characters will matter to you as will their choices and feelings as you follow them across worlds, battle cosmic elements and enemies, until finally finding everything in its place.
Audio = excellent; good title music as well
Narration = Zan’s voice translates perfectly to this medium
Story = gripping

I started listening with no idea what to expect, and a little apprehensive of what I might have got myself into. After a chapter or two, I became enthusiastic. Now it’s over. I never did know what to expect; I never lost that bit of apprehension. This book refuses to be pigeon-holed, as do the characters. Good times.
August 21st, 2007 at 6:38 pm
Great story! very imaginative. I definitely would recommend this book.Great character development, lots of action and plenty of twists and turns that make you feel like you are on a wild ride and you don’t know if you will get out in one piece.
August 21st, 2007 at 8:38 pm
oh my goodness!! great tale! great ‘rockin’ soundtrack….the corridor has it all….gaiman-esque to say the least….i wonder if mr zan counts him among his influences? …..hey! thats my Q and A question!
August 22nd, 2007 at 6:14 am
Great book enjoyed it very much.
Extremely graphic violence may not be suitable for some.
Thank you
August 22nd, 2007 at 9:00 am
This book has kept me entranced for months. It’s one of the most imaginative, exciting, and original fantasy/horror stories I’ve ever heard. I hope there will be a sequel.
August 22nd, 2007 at 1:50 pm
Wow. What an epic story. I really enjoyed it! Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us.
August 23rd, 2007 at 12:22 am
Epic is the perfect word to describe this story. Stuart goes on a truly fantastical adventure, the characters are interesting and some of the action is gruesome but always enthralling.
I was a bit of a skeptic at the beginning of the book just because episodes came out infrequently and following the plot thread was always obfuscated by the time delay. In the end though sticking with it really proved worth it.
A great adventure! Can’t wait for the sequel.
August 23rd, 2007 at 12:18 pm
I just finished and now what will I do, no more intense hunts through various worlds. Luv, luv, luved it. Great characters as well as crack story telling by the narrator.
Go ahead write that next book and hurry!!!
August 25th, 2007 at 4:46 am
Oh so long, way too long. The storyline was interesting but the length of the story made it seem convoluted. The first minute of each installment is wasted on a hideous theme song that goes on and on.
August 27th, 2007 at 6:11 pm
Very satisfying! Encore! Great Story! After deleting the last 2 podiobooks, unable to invest more than 5 chapters of my time, I was very glad to have my attention absorbed into this story while at work. Please do craft a sequel. Thank You for all your hard work.
Having said that, I would like to balance that with a couple of small criticisms. One thing that I thought the storytelling could have used is a bit more ‘feeling’ in the moments of high tension. An example would be like, “The person walked across the room.” and ” The grand climax of the story is happening right now and the outcome is uncertain.” were conveyed with the same tone and pace. Don’t get me wrong, I really hope the author does a sequel. I would be very eager to listen to another full length work of his anytime.
Listen to this story. You will enjoy it.
August 28th, 2007 at 4:30 am
I really enjoyed this book. In particular I admired that it wasn’t abbreviated and chopped up the way many podcast books are. Doing so leaves the story too disjointed. Listening to this was the next best thing to reading it myself. Please produce another. I will be watching for it on podiobooks.
Brian
August 29th, 2007 at 4:44 am
A well crafted story, good production and pleasing narration. Love the theme music, reminiscent of Dr Who. I found the experience very much like reading a long fantasy novel and was never really quite sure when it would end (just like the Corridor itself). A sequel would be most welcomed. Zan, you have joined Scott Sigler and JC Hutchins in my Top 3.
Keep up the great work.
August 31st, 2007 at 6:06 pm
Awesome book! I loved it. It was truly unique and I would like to hear the sequal!
September 3rd, 2007 at 11:15 pm
I have been listening to podiobooks for some time now and this is one of the best!!! I looked forward to hearing what kind of trouble Stewart would get himself into each chapter. Playing off new ideas in quantum mechanics brought to our minds through new science, this novel is intelligent, suspensful and humorous!!! I laughed, cried, was scared $#^)#$^% less along with the characters as they progressed through the Corridor. Great work Zan, definitely the most underrated podcast on podiobooks.com but one of the BEST!!!
September 4th, 2007 at 5:14 am
Great listen! Fresh ideas and immersive writing! This feed carried me through a long spring and summer on the road. Excellent narration. I keep a permanent feed going for Sigler and Hutchins… and hope there is more from Zan! I can’t wait for the sequel!!
My only request is that the book and chapter #’s get replaced by an episode #. It’s sometimes hard to find your place in the read while driving!
September 8th, 2007 at 2:26 am
Thanks for all the comments and ratings, everyone! I’m planning to record the Q&A show some time in the next couple of weeks, so if there’s something you want to ask, send me an email soon (you’ll find contact details at the show’s website).
September 10th, 2007 at 11:55 am
Amazingly, I’ve just left the first review on the UK iTunes store. It was as follows:
“This is a great story about an unlikely hero in a stunningly imaginative multitude of worlds. There are many other great characters that interact with “The Unique” and some unexpected twists. It’s pretty dark but this just makes it more compelling. Well done Zan - I hope that you get enough feedback to justify the sequel.” … and given it 5 starts too!
Nice one Zan and thanks.
September 12th, 2007 at 3:23 am
I loved the book. It started quite ordinary but it quickly developed into something wonderful and very unique. I love the fact that each facet had a mood. Earth had a noir feel, Karrum-Shu had an adventure feel, Isori had a fantasy feel and the castle Gurgoom reflected Final Fantasy atmosphere.
September 14th, 2007 at 12:18 pm
Really, really excellent work Zan. I gave you a blog writeup: http://strongdynamic.blogspot.com/2007/09/substitute-reading-list.html
Please write more! And then read it aloud! The writing and the reading were both top notch.
September 17th, 2007 at 3:13 am
This podcast is a must hear. The story is great, the characters are believable, narration is excellent (no ‘overacting’); this is just a great story that I was disappointed to have come to a close. The ending of this story demands a sequel. If you haven’t started writing yet, please start.
I have nothing negative to say about this book, other then it will make it difficult for me to find something else nearly as enjoyable tp hear.
JJ
September 19th, 2007 at 1:31 pm
This book was *great* Thanks for all the work!!
September 19th, 2007 at 3:09 pm
This is the most amazing story I have heard in years. I was hooked from the very first moment and could not stop until it was over. The writing and reading were fantastic. Zan you did an outstanding job, thank you so much for sharing this story will us. Please write a sequel, I just have to know were you plan to take Stuart. Once again thank you.
September 27th, 2007 at 10:37 pm
I genuinely thank you for this; one of the best stories I ‘ve read on the site.
I can’t wait for the follow up.
October 3rd, 2007 at 2:50 pm
By far the greatest audiobook on podiobooks.com. The story line traps you and carries you. It’s probably the only book that actually had me wonder about the expanse of it’s universe and what was gonna happen in the next episode. Thanks man. You must write a sequel.
October 11th, 2007 at 5:59 pm
Zan brilliant story, thank you.
Was wondering if you were working on anything else?
October 12th, 2007 at 12:26 am
Best Podiobook I have listened to yet. Found myself looking for a way into the ”Corridor”!
October 12th, 2007 at 4:02 pm
Hi Case,
Hopefully I’ll get a sequel to The Corridor written at some stage, although it’s likely to take a while.
October 28th, 2007 at 5:24 pm
Zan,
The Corridor was a great listen — a story with a really interesting premise, well developed characters and quality writing. I’ll miss having Stuart, Julie, Golly and the rest as part of my commute (unless, of course, we get a sequel).
Shaun
November 9th, 2007 at 1:20 pm
Really cool, well written with lots of twists. The story reminded me somewhat of the work of Clive Barker (not a critique, but a compliment). One of the best (if not the best) I’ve heard on Podiobooks so far. Also, kick-ass intro music, too bad about the re-edit halfway. Keep it up, you’re on to a good thing here!
November 12th, 2007 at 2:49 pm
Great book — definitely worth going through the whole thing. I found myself looking for places to drive so I could listen to it more often in the car.
November 28th, 2007 at 10:33 am
This was a very entertaining story. Rich, well developed characters inhabiting an imaginative and expansive universe. I would love to listen to a sequel.
December 14th, 2007 at 6:58 pm
I was thrilled to see how long the story was.. The character and plot is so deep and extensive, you can easily double the books size and still ask for more. It was a great captivating listening experience. thank you.
December 24th, 2007 at 12:58 pm
Just want to say I absolutely enjoyed this book. Devoured it in less than a week. Loved the development of the settings and the characters and the whole premiss of the world.
Only downside was a bit too much “catch and release”, but I’m really looking forward to more from this story.
December 25th, 2007 at 4:45 pm
Roguewest, did you really listen to the whole thing in less than a week? You must have a lot of free time! But it’s very flattering that you were so interested.
January 1st, 2008 at 11:45 am
Wow, I love this book!!!
No, NOT from boredom, I just slowly drifted away on the soothing tones of your voice and I loved it. I presume Zan himself is reading the story, because the intonations are so well done, only the creator of the characters could have read the story this way. Very captivating!
Great storyline, wonderful characters, I really grew to know and love them (and miss them now that the book is finished, I really hate that about books).
I often fell asleep listening to the book in bed
The music, also, wonderful! I now understand why it fits the story so well: also composed by Zan.
I really have nothing negative to say, except that this book, being the first audiobook I ever listened to, really set a HIGH mark for all the books I’m planning to listen to in the future…
All in all, thank you very, very much for creating the wonderful world(s) of The Corridor. Now gimme more
January 1st, 2008 at 2:17 pm
This is a wonderful audiobook. I have listened to many and this is one of my favorites. Thank you so much. I wish the very best for you this coming year, you have an amazing talent.
January 2nd, 2008 at 3:22 pm
This has made a dull week at work a joy keep up the writing.
I look forward to a sequel.
January 9th, 2008 at 12:19 am
I am not normally a fan of fantasy fiction…but this book is so intriguing and compelling that I couldn’t stop listening to it. I loved every second! If you haven’t listened to The Corridor, you are missing out on one of the finest pieces of fiction in existence!
January 22nd, 2008 at 9:50 pm
Thanks for doing the corridor. I have just finished it. I am very glad I could listen too as many parts as I wanted. I would keep downloading just one more to see what would happen next. I also made a donation. With all the doors closed how can stuart possibly go to another world?
January 30th, 2008 at 8:17 pm
Great book. Beautifully read. A very interesting read. Thank you Zan. I had no idea what to expect from this book when I started. The storyline is pretty novel and I haven’t read anything similar so far. The amount of gore and horror surprised me a little though. I have given good rating and also made a small donation. Hope this will encourage you to write more.
January 30th, 2008 at 8:58 pm
Hey Elamaran. Thank you very much for your support - it’s much appreciated. I’m always surprised when listeners remark on the gore - I really didn’t think there was that much, which I guess means I’m a sicko. I suppose that, rather than having gore all the way through it, there are a limited number of disturbing scenes, which perhaps makes them more striking.
February 17th, 2008 at 8:22 pm
Just finished the PodCast. Nice work! I could hardly wait to get to the next episode. Thanks agian!
February 20th, 2008 at 6:44 pm
A story as enjoyable as The Corridor deserves success. Good to see it is still going strong! All these positive comments are surely making another novel more likely.
I’m guessing that Zan is a lot busier now than he was when he first started writing The Corridor, so I’m not holding my breath, but I can (and will) drop by and clamor now and again.
March 17th, 2008 at 4:16 am
I love this book. It’s the best podcast I’ve download so far. On the Aussies!
March 23rd, 2008 at 12:37 am
I’m only through book 3 of this story, but I’m really, really enjoying it. FINALLY, someone that actually knows how to write! I can’t begin to tell you what a welcome change that is from the likes of those that think they can write, and are even quite prolific, but have absolutely no clue about how to truly write.
On the other hand, thus far, the author of THIS book has been able to paint the action scenes very vividly. The conversations are lively and peppered with words denoting speech besides the very dull, “he said, she said” (which becomes so tiresome). My only nit is the loooooong intro music to each episode. Fifteen or twenty seconds would be fine, but 60 seconds is a little on the long side.
However, I’m anxious to see how the rest of the story plays out. I normally wait until I’m done listening before posting my opinion, but this book was so good, I couldn’t wait. I’ll post a final comment when I’m done.
Thanks for the breath of fresh (or in the case of book 3, stagnant, stale, putrid) air.
March 25th, 2008 at 10:51 am
Just finished this book. Zan has a terriffic imagination and has created a lush and vivid world. Feels sort of like a Clive Barker fantasy. My only regret is that I listen to it while i’m at work, and I’m fairly certain I missed a lot. I’ll have to listen to it again.
March 26th, 2008 at 12:55 am
Now that I’m done, I’m so glad the ending was a little, well, open-ended, leaving room for a sequel. Should Zan write one? Good golly, I sure hope so. I’d upload it in a heartbeat!
There were many characters in this story, but you got to know them all. The universe they inhabit was fascinating. None of the characters were one-dimensional but, rather, multi-faceted (just like the corridor). You never knew what to expect or what was going to happen next. The story line wasn’t predictable, which is what made it so very engaging.
I highly recommend this book for mature audiences (adults and older teenagers — think “R” rated movie) for the (albeit infrequent) sexual references and language.
March 28th, 2008 at 12:03 pm
This is a fantastic book, I enjoyed it very much. The imagery was so vivid, several times could picture that it would make a great movie. I would love the opportunity to a sequel or another work by the author.
April 7th, 2008 at 2:53 pm
I really enjoyed this book one of the best i have heard. This would make a really good movie as it has all the ingredients of action horror and high adventure.
May 24th, 2008 at 9:04 am
I really enjoyed the book, Zan. I’m looking forward to the sequel when it arrives.
June 9th, 2008 at 12:07 pm
Great book - real fantasy. The end really left me hanging.
I hope a sequel is in the works…. Is it???
June 11th, 2008 at 5:06 pm
Hi, Greg. Thanks for the positive feedback. Unfortunately, the sequel is still just a bunch of ideas and notes at the moment. Hopefully I’ll get the time to write it before too long.
June 16th, 2008 at 11:15 pm
Phenomenal book, I have listened to it twice. I am really looking forward to the sequel. I can’t wait to see where this goes next.
June 25th, 2008 at 5:57 am
Awesome story. I’m seriously hoping for a sequel.

I was a bit daunted, at first, by the length of the book, but I finally downloaded it all and listened with rapt attention. It was utterly fantastic and I would certainly read/listen to a sequel.

Hi Al,
Glad you enjoyed the book. I’m afraid there won’t be a sequel appearing soon, but keep an eye on the website (www.the-corridor.info) or subscribe to its rss feed so that you know when it arrives.

Great book Zan, I first dowloaded it about a year ago and I’ve listened to it about three time now. I can’t wait for more. Once again fantastic job and for all of us waiting please keep it up.

Wow! I’ll admit, I was a little intimidated by the sheer size of the book, but..for those considering it - don’t hesitate. You can tell from the other comments - you’ll want more! Zan, like the rest, I would certainly love a sequel - but please, take you time. You’ve set the bar wonderfully high, with this one. Thank you for writing and recording in this format.

Wow. I just listened to the entire book over the course of about a week (when I should have been studying for finals). After the first couple of episodes I couldn’t stop myself. Masterfully done. I concur with JaneInPA; prospective listeners should not hesitate to get started on this book. Unless, that is, you have finals coming up soon.

Hokely Carp!
I listened to this non-stop over the course of two days at work - I even found make work and cleaning to do to stretch out the day so I could finish the whole thing. Absolutely amazing - on par with Adams, Barker, and Hubbard in its scope, depth, and character development. Zan, you have to write the sequel, or at least make a source book for an RPG system.
