Hey look! You’re still here…

Holy. Hanna. Words cannot begin to express how friggin’ sorry all of us on staff here at Podiobooks.com are for the massive outages as of late. Consider this a public apology, all of our listeners and authors a like. It’s super cool that you have all stuck with us as we go through this.

Wanna know what really sucks? We received a link from BoingBoing this past week and iTunes. All while we’re fighting a comedy of errors that includes a tree knocking out the power to Chris’ house while he’s trying to perform an emergency move when our server went belly up due to traffic. Joy. If I wasn’t confident we were building massive amounts of good karma by giving books away for free and then giving 75% of donations to the authors, I’d say some cosmic power was out to get us.

I don’t want to jinx ourselves and it’s way too early to know if we’re sitting pretty or not, but the signs all point to good. Everyone cross what you have two of that it stays that way. We’ve got some big plans for the next few months that don’t include emergency fixes and server swaps.

    Welcome back! I was scared there for a bit! We’re a patient people, after all we wait a week or more for new episodes so I’m certainly hoping folks will cut you some slack!

    Looks like my itunes isn’t wanting to read any of the feeds, shows them all as “invalid podcast urls” dunno if this is just me or if someting really changed with the feeds.

    Tuesday at 7:53 PM PST I am finally able to see your website again, but iTunes is still telling me tough luck. I’ll be here when you are ready, and I’m not complaining. I just thought you should know.

    Still can’t get ‘Aliens & Satanic……’ feed working in I-Tunes - what am I doing wrong?
