If you’ve visited the website in the last several weeks, you’ve likely seen a variety of ads appearing, hopefully in non-obtrusive spots, on our pages. Google has a pretty good ad platform that should display things which are relevant to the page you are currently viewing (though it doesn’t work so well on the blog pages).
You are going to see me experimenting with other sorts of revenue drivers for the site. Hey, we’ve proven this model works and I see no reason why we can’t make a buck or two. You have my pledge to try my best to keep it clean and out-of-the way, as I have no desire to “clutter the place up” with ads appearing all willy-nilly.
I’ve also signed up for a couple of affiliate-marketing opportunities and will be looking at more options in the coming days/weeks. Many of you have asked for ways in which you can support us — so why not support us while you buy things you want anyhow? It is the time of year when folks start buying things for others. Give a gift that gives us something back.
