Evo pitches Podiobooks.com to Story Salon authors
Part of the reason I went to the Podcast & Portable Media Expo this year was to spread the word about Podiobooks.com. I thought I might meet a couple of enterprising authors who were in the process of making a “podcast version” of their book or audio adaptation but had not heard of Podiobooks.com. But since this was pretty much a podcasting geek convention, I just wanted us to get a boatload more listeners.
So imagine my surprise when I walk by one of the booths and her Lance Anderson talking to three authors from Story Salon, a group of writers who get together and share their stories in front of a live audience in Los Angeles. I’ve been listening to the Story Salon since I heard Lance and Dan Klass talking about it last year. Very cool stuff, and I’ve been hopeful that at least one of the authors might be interested in putting some of their work out here on Podiobooks.com
Guess what? Lance had the same idea and had already mentioned it to Beverly, Joe and Dan. Rock. On.
So Lance calls to me as I’m in the crowd and asks me to get on mic and talk with the above named Saloners about that very things. So here you go: Audio evidence that at least one Story Salon author will be putting a book on Podiobooks.com. Now we wait!

There is a typo in the link for the mp3 on their page, which I eventually found is in the article title. The URL should be: http://www.lapodcasters.com/media/storysalonexpo.mp3
I tried to leave a comment on their site but couldn’t get logged in to leave a comment.
