Editing Reality
New book live, helping authors of works of fiction. Interesting!
Editing Reality is both the name of a novel-in-progress and a podcast about the reality of editing. Host Micah Dubinko tackles a new editing topic each week, and puts it into practice against an installment of his novel. If you’re curious about the process of editing fiction, or just in the mood for a satirical story about a mad scientist, a mentally unbalanced gangster, a superhero wannabe, and a gang of cyberpirates, come have a listen.

So far I’m liking the book. I think this is helping my own writing as I’m also working on a story. One comment about the page though, I’m getting a wordpress error whenI try and access the site that is suposed to be linked to the author’s website. Clear as mud? sorry I’m extremely tired.

Glad you are liking the book, Sarah. Not much we can do about the authors website problem, but we will remove the link until Micah provides us with a working link,
E.

Just finished the book. The ending was much better than the beginning. Having the author comment throughout the story was a little distracting and kept the story too fragmented for me to really get into it.

I think the author commenting is a good idea. It helps to know wht is going through his mind as he proceeds to edit the novel. I’m so far on episode 6 but so far I’m learning a lot.
