Welcome the New Guy…

Heya everyone! I’m happy to announce that Rick Wezowicz has joined the coding staff!

From his bio:

Rick has been involved in computer technologies for more than 9 years. He was the IT specialist for 3 companies before moving into web programming, and has been programming PHP for over 5 years; he recent adventures have lead him into working with ASP.NET. He 4 spent years as the streaming manager for PBS’s flagship station and NPR affiliate, WGBH in Boston, MA where he, and Tony Kahn, were responsibile for bringing podcasting to the station (which now produces multiple popular podcasts including the first podcast in public broadcasting, Morning Stories)

Rick is the host of the original indie Christian music podcast, ICM-Raw (which is currently on vacation due to his new job). He is also a multi-instrumentalist playing keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums, and he uses his talents as a music director at a local church. On the side he enjoys hiking, volleyball, and frisbee golf.

He’s been married for three years and has two toddler boys. Recently his family relocated to the Albany, NY area from New Hampshire.

AND like Chris, he is also a Doctor Who fan.

Please give him a warm welcome…then begin to pelt him with coding questions.

-Chris

Two whovians here (make that three, though I’ve only really seen the latest series, which I can hearthily recommend)? :)
    Welcome Rick.

Andy picks up his computer science homework and throws it at Rick.

Hmm, an additional web programer, does this mean that we’ll be seeing some new features on the site?

Warmest of welcomes. However, given your background, you probably want to stay far away from my writings :-) Seriously, congratulations on joining the team. The others running the site have really impressed me and earned my utmost respect, and I’m sure you’ll do the same.
