Loved it. can't wait for the sequel- it was left with all the hallmarks of a sequel on the, "last page", as it were.
Anyway- Audio quality poor. Naration excellent. Story great.
Took me where it intended to take me and got me involved with the lives of the characters and wove a world that I believed in.
Lovely

From a huge Chasing the Bard fan, I'm a little disappointed. I listened to the first episode or 2, and found the story less focussed, and spottier. Pip's voice is, as always, worth the price of admission though, so I'll listen on.

Thanks PuddyRat - sorry can't do much about the accent, but my technical ability has gone considerably since this was recorded in 2006. Chasing the Bard should be coming to Podiobooks in the next month or so- -the indie feed is live over at Chasingthebard.com but if you prefer you audio without my chit chat then you might want to wait. Who knows one day I may come back and remaster Weaver's Web and do a sequel.

I really enjoyed this story. It kept me listening with rapt attention the entire time.

Admittedly, as a "Yank," it was a bit difficult getting past the Kiwi accent, but that wasn't my biggest problem with the narration. Rather, it had to do with the poor audio editing. I found portions of the audio cut out and words and/or sentences were cut off. In spite of this, it was a story still well worth listening to.

Should a sequel come out, I would definitely download it as I would like to discover what is happening next in Ashi’mei's world. I will also download "Chasing the Bard" when the time comes. Thanks for a great story.

I left it open for a sequel and sometime I would like to get back to Ashi'mei's world and see what happened to them. I'm planning on turning my second novel Chasing the Bard into a podiobook and then see what happens after that.
Thanks for listening and leaving feedback!
