Proof of growth

Podiobooks.com increasing popularity

Uh… wow. I mean I knew we we’ve seen some growth in the last couple of months, but I didn’t expect the results to be this dramatic. Hats off to everyone who has subscribed, the authors who keep plugging away, Chris for keep on top of my ever-changing requirements, and Tee for handling the slew of new authors always interested in getting their books on board with Podiobooks.com

And just think, we’re still in beta! Wait ’til you see what happens in a couple of weeks!

Pages is page views right?, so whats the req mean?. How many people have you got registered then Evo?.

Little growing red lines as in little growing red lines! :)

Though each stats package reports things differently, I’m assuming that “# reqs” equates to “hits” (a very useless number, interesting only in the comparative) and “# pages” is the same as “page views”. Which is just as pointless, as the majority of the activity on the site is from RSS aggregators.

I need to chat with Tee and Chris about revealing additional numbers. I’m 100% for full disclosure and transparency, but there are lies, damn lies and statistics in this world. When I put out “numbers” (no, the chart above does not count) about subscribers, I want to make sure it’s defensible and not open to interpretation.

Give us some time to have confidence in the numbers, and we’ll put them out, OK CP? Your comments, as always, are most appreciated.
